Solid Roots Academy: An Acton Imprimis

Solid Roots Academy is a hybrid, learner-driven school located in the northwest Valley inside Happy Valley Baptist Church. We serve learners ages 5–13, partnering with families to blend on-campus studio days with at-home learning. With a clear vision to expand our programming through age 18, Launchpad is planned to open in 2028.

Rooted in the Acton model, Solid Roots Academy offers an innovative educational experience that connects academic growth with real-world application, character development, and faith. Curiosity and independence are at the heart of everything we do as learners embark on their own Hero’s Journey, discovering their unique gifts while building confidence, grit, and ownership of learning.

Our program is centered on Socratic discussions, hands-on Quests, and meaningful work that encourages critical thinking, collaboration, and responsibility. Enrichment opportunities include outdoor exploration, creative arts, entrepreneurship, and project-based learning, allowing learners to apply learning in authentic and engaging ways.

By blending innovative, learner-driven education with a strong faith foundation and intentional family partnership, Solid Roots Academy equips learners to think deeply, solve real-world problems, and develop a lifelong love of learning—rooted in purpose and prepared to lead.
